Over 100 people attended Honeywell’s ‘Experience the IoT Evolution in Smart Buildings’ event at Wembley Stadium.

Alastair Reynolds, UKN regional general manager, Honeywell introduced a variety of speakers who charted the development of the smart building and looked forward to upcoming developments in the sector.
On arrival, delegates installed Honeywell’s Vector app in order to guide them around the venue. Dan Ritch, CIO and president connected services, Honeywell talked the audience through Honeywell’s latest technology including Vector Space Sense (www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iz2WH-xugro).
David Williams of Microsoft said that the cloud was vital for the success of smart buildings and Microsoft has been using smart technologies across its campuses with its partners, including Honeywell. Other speakers included Martin L Frohock, head of facility management, Arm and Adam Armer, head of business development - digital buildings, Vodafone IoT.
