Smart Buildings Show announces conference programme

Smart Buildings Show has announced an influential conference programme including keynote addresses and presentations from some of the biggest names in the Smart Buildings industry including  Bluetooth SIG, BSRIA, Capita, Engie, Honeywell Building Solutions, Hurley Palmer Flatt, IBM, ISS UK, JLL, KNX UK, Microsoft, Schneider Electric and Spica.

Graham Woods, UK technology solutions & BI manager, ISS UK, and Paul Jones, COO, Spica Technologies will be giving a presentation on how ISS, with technology partner Spica are offering a new business-outcome led model for surfacing building information via a single mobile app.
The companies have focused on improving the employee experience by surfacing data on the building (location-based services including access control, room booking, service requests free desk areas, find a colleague, catering booking etc), which can have a huge impact on improving productivity, wellbeing and happiness - leading to increased recruitment and retention rates and ultimately savings to the bottom line.
Also speaking will be Mark Davenport, CEO, Smart Buildings Ltd who will be giving an overview of why the technology is struggling to fit into the current construction process and how this needs to change and where this will sit in the future. He will also be giving a case study of the most advanced integration building in the UK today and how it got there.
Over the course of the two-day event, Smart Buildings Show will deliver 38 presentations across three theatres; The Connected - Management, Connected - Controls and the Training Theatre, with CPD-accredited training sessions from companies such as Synapsys Solutions, Sontay and Beckhoff.
John Hatcher, conference director, said, “It is a very exciting time to be involved in the world of smart buildings and the conference will provide delegates with the most up to date information on the sector. There will be market analysis, case studies and the latest product information, from the most informed speakers in the industry, plus a dedicated training theatre. All at no charge for visitors.”
