The BCIA has confirmed that it will continue to be a supporter of Smart Buildings Show in 2018. The show, which is taking place on the 7-8 November at The Barbican London, is the leading UK event for smart commercial buildings. After last year’s excellent attendance the organisers are looking forward to a bigger and better show in 2018, which featured a free conference and training hub.

Jon Belfield, president of the BCIA, told Smart Buildings Magazine, "With 2018 being the Year of Engineering, it presents the perfect opportunity to celebrate engineering. Thanks to evolving technology and highly-talented engineers, we have seen a dramatic rise in smart connected buildings. The BCIA is proud to be an official supporter of the Smart Buildings Show and believes it is an ideal platform to showcase the impact of engineering in today’s innovative and energy-efficient commercial buildings, which enable occupants to be more productive and healthy in the workplace, while ensuring the building is cost-effective for the owner."
More than 20 companies have already signed up for Smart Buildings Show 2018, including, Beckhoff, Priva, Sontay and Smart Buildings Ltd.
