Beckhoff Automation has opened the doors of its new technical training centre and is offering an extensive range of courses for controls engineers interested in learning about its approach to BEMS and controls.
The technical centre is located in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. It offers industry professionals world-class training and application development courses on the second week of each month, which delegates can book online.
The training centre has over 3,000sq. ft. of floor space with a built-in building automation display area that includes lighting, heating and energy monitoring controlled by Beckhoff. The new centre also has a dedicated training laboratory and in-house workshop area for customer application and machine development.
The centre offers a wide range of courses which include:
- IEC61131-3 TwinCAT2/3 PLC programming
- PLC maintenance
- TwinCAT PLC HVAC and Lighting software library training
- BACnet: Basics of BACnet communication
- Integration of .NET and C++ Programming;
- Programming with energy standards in mind
- Building to IoT connectivity
The broad range of courses will help consultants and industry professionals gain a better understanding of building automation and apply the latest technology to their own applications. Delegates attending the training centre will be able to improve their understanding of intelligent lighting for buildings; converged building controls; BS EN 15232; PC-based control for building automation and the IoT.
