Smart Buildings Show says that it is pleased to have the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) as an official supporter of the show. Peter Brogan of the BIFM will also be speaking at Smart Buildings Show, looking at the role of the facilities manager in smart buildings.
The BIFM commented, “‘Optimising the energy efficiency of our buildings is one area where workplace and facilities professionals can make a real and lasting impact. Cutting energy costs while providing a quality working environment adds value to the performance of organisations. That’s why the BIFM is pleased to be a Smart Building Show supporter’.
Conference director John Hatcher commented, “It’s great news that we are working with the BIFM, the leading professional body in the facilities management sector. Facilities managers are at the cutting edge of implementing and managing smart buildings and their input is vital in the success of smart buildings projects. It will be great to have their presence at the UK’s biggest commercial smart buildings event.”
