BSRIA and ECA will be staging a ‘is smart really smart’ event on Wednesday 10th May, from 9:30 – 14:30 hrs at the The Wellcome Trust in London and is urging industry to attend.

As buildings become more advanced, a new breed of “smart buildings” that are better aligned with the priorities of the property owners and managers is emerging. But is this also the case for the tenants and business processes?
This event will look at the issues emerging from new technology in buildings and how we can use the information generated more wisely to achieve the expected benefits of occupant comfort, the use of energy, water, and building resources more efficiently and, therefore, improve facility staff productivity.
Tracey Tilbry, networks & events manager, BSRIA, said: “We are in exciting times: new and inspiring technology is constantly being created for buildings to help them perform better. But there is still work to be done. It will be interesting to hear the views of our expert speakers and the discussion the presentations will generate. Above all, these events are a fantastic opportunity to network and share best practice with your peers, clients and competitors.”
