Specialist IoT solutions provider, Alliot Technologies has announced the promotion of Craig Herrett to managing director. This appointment marks a significant step in the company’s strategic plan to drive its continued growth and innovation in the rapidly expanding IoT (Internet of Things) market.
A founding member of Alliot Technologies, Craig has played a key role in the company’s development while also contributing to the success of its sister company, ProVu Communications. Since joining ProVu in 2017, Craig has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth through his leadership and the successful delivery of numerous strategic initiatives. With this new role, Craig will now dedicate his focus entirely to Alliot, leveraging his expertise to accelerate the company’s expansion and further establish its position as a leader in IoT solutions.
Reflecting on his promotion and transition, Craig Herrett said: “During my time at ProVu, I have witnessed incredible growth and had the privilege of building lasting relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers - many of whom I now consider friends. While stepping back from my day-to-day role at ProVu is bittersweet, I remain a shareholder in the business and will continue to support and celebrate its success.
“I am, however, excited to focus my full attention on the opportunities ahead at Alliot. The IoT sector is evolving rapidly, and I look forward to driving the next phase of growth and innovation alongside our talented team.”
Darren Garland, chairman of ProVu Communications and Alliot Technologies, commented: “We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and impact Craig has had at ProVu over the years. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping the company’s success. This transition has been part of a well-planned strategy we’ve been implementing over the last 12 months. I’m excited to see Craig bring the same energy and vision to Alliot as he leads the company into its next chapter.”
