Distech Controls has achieved ISO 14001 accreditation for its European production facility. ISO 14001 sets the standard globally for environmental management systems and demonstrates Distech Controls’ commitment to extending its environmental focus beyond its products to include its operations.

ISO 14001 maps out a framework that an organisation can follow to set up an effective environmental management system. Designed for any type of organisation, regardless of its activity or sector, it can provide assurance to company management and employees as well as external stakeholders that environmental impact is being measured and improved.

“The ISO 14001 certification is a true achievement. It is the materialisation of our efforts since our creation in 1995 and represents a guarantee of credibility and reliability for our customers. In addition to our current commitments, this certification will have concrete, sustainable and visible effects,” comments Audrey Husson, HSEQ facilitator at Distech Controls.

“Reducing the environmental impact of buildings and contributing to a more sustainable future is what drives us every day at Distech Controls. Making changes in our daily actions is our responsibility as individuals and as a company. This is, among others, a mission of the EarthLIGHT initiative. Together, with our customers, we can make a difference.” comments Hubert Fritsch, deputy managing director at Distech Controls.
