Distech Controls says that its Eclypse controllers have been installed in the Olympic Aquatic Centre, built under the supervision of the Metropole du Grand Paris, the building that hosted the Olympic events in artistic swimming, diving and water polo.

Located in Seine-Saint-Denis, opposite the Stade de France, the Olympic Aquatics Centre (OAC) is the only sports facility built to host the Olympic and Paralympic Games that will be preserved as a legacy for the region. During the Games, the building welcomed up to 5,000 spectators to watch the artistic swimming, diving and water polo events.

After the Games, this world-class sports facility will be open to the general public, becoming a meeting place and a sports venue accessible to all. It will also host national and international competitions from time to time.

The Olympic Aquatic Centre is an example of what can be achieved through environmental best practice thanks to its innovations and technical performance, resulting in it being a certified "NF HQE (High Environmental Quality) sports facility".

The Eclypse solution was chosen to equip the Olympic Aquatic Centre, with the primary aim of regulating the building's water and energy consumption both during the Olympic Games and after the summer of 2024.

Eclypse controllers were chosen for their modularity and durability. They are directly linked to the energy management solution deployed on site. Together, these solutions communicate to achieve the water and energy saving targets set in the specifications, both during and after the games.
