Distech Controls is taking to the road again during 2019 and holding its hugely successful UK Roadshow events in six major cities over the next five months. Taking place in Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol, Glasgow and London, the events will explore the benefits of flat IP architecture and how to take advantage of the RESTful API as well as understanding how Distech Controls’ technology can help achieve greater control, energy savings and improved comfort for end-users.

“Smart and connected buildings are major talking points at the moment,” comments Simon Ward, at director of sales – UK & Ireland at Distech Controls. “They impact substantially on the design, performance and efficient operation of building services but there is currently a lack of knowledge about how to integrate connected technology. Our roadshow programme aims to de-mystify smart technology and help attendees learn more about the latest technology, thinking and benefits behind the transformation in building controls.”

The day will be spilt into two parts, the morning session is aimed at system integrators and will provide training as well discussions on the latest technology. The afternoon session is aimed predominantly at consulting engineers, giving a broader overview of the benefits of creating smart buildings and the design aspects. Attendees are welcome to join one or both of the sessions taking place during the day.

The Distech Controls roadshow is also making its way around Europe, visiting 20 different cities in France, Germany, Italy, Norway and Denmark over the course of the tour.
