British IT orchestration and automation company essensys has acquired HubCreate, the market-leading workspace management software. The deal comes as essensys ramps up its international growth with the appointment of David Kinnaird, former operations director at Avanta Serviced Office Group, who has taken on the role of managing director of the business’ newly-formed US operations.
essensys has acquired HubCreate to increase capabilities of its self-service IT offering but also expand its reach into the flexible workspace industry.
Mark Furness, CEO and founder of essensys, said: “The demand for flexible working environments is increasing. They are the answer to an office model that is no longer fit for flexible workforces and scaling businesses. Empowered by technology and community-driven, a workforce made up of Gen X and Millennials now demands a more fluid and smarter way of working. Even more traditional business centres and large corporates are getting ready for this shift. By combining HubCreate and essensys’s expertise and pioneering technologies, we can offer a single platform that powers the complete user journey in a flexible workspace.”
essensys uses advanced cloud automation technology to enable IT and digital services to be provisioned on demand and managed through JEFF, its self-service interface. The company has grown its top line revenues by 330 per cent over the past three years and due to early demand, is already working on plans to further expand its reach in North America.
