The first Virtual Smart Buildings Conference will be taking place between the 13-15 October and delegates will be able to watch presentations from some of the world’s most innovative smart buildings companies and interact with the speakers.
Two speakers who will be presenting are Justin Bolger, VP of sales North America at Pointr and Szymon Słupik, CTO and co-founder of Silvair.
Justin’s session is entitled, ‘Creating a safe workplace amidst COVID-19’. He will be dealing with several pressing questions including, "How do I prevent the spread of the virus in the facilities?", "How do I ensure business continuity even if new cases occur among staff?", and "How do I reassure employees that it’s safe to go to work?"
Szymon, who as well as being CTO and co-founder at Silvair, is chair of the Mesh Working Group at Bluetooth SIG, (one of Virtual Smart Buildings Conference’s sponsors), has a presentation entitled, ‘Energy efficiency through standards-based lighting control systems’.
The session will discuss the unified architecture of Bluetooth mesh - based inter-luminaire networks extended with DALI/D4i intra-luminaire networks and the benefits of ease of commissioning, energy savings and data reporting.
