The Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM) has launched its 2020 national conference, announcing the theme of ‘navigating turbulent times’, which will see expert speakers tackle four of the sector’s - and the world’s - greatest challenges.

Taking place on Tuesday 24 March in Central London, IWFM Conference 2020 - the second national event that IWFM has held since it rebranded from BIFM in 2018 - will feature insightful and inspiring talks on the new decade’s key issues. The emphasis will be on four megatrends impacting the global economy:

  • climate change
  • technology
  • the future of work
  • wellbeing

“We live in an age of ongoing advancement and disruption,” said Linda Hausmanis, IWFM CEO. “What this conference will make plain is that, through utilising the workplace discipline, facilities management can - and should - be a leader in tackling the profound challenges and opportunities that arise. FMs’ hands are on some of the key levers of positive change for organisations - from environmental sustainability to wellbeing. We want them to realise that power. On 24 March, attendees will depart brimming with insights, ideas and practical tools that they can apply in their organisations right away.”

IWFM Conference 2020 takes place Tuesday 24th March at etc. venues St Paul’s, London, EC1A 4HD.
