Metasys Access Portal Gateway from Johnson Controls Building Efficiency has won the Product Innovation of the Year category at the CSA Awards 2016.

This pocket-sized web server can be carried around or permanently mounted. It automatically discovers all connected devices in a system, helping the commissioning and configuring of connected devices to be achieved quickly. The built-in wireless access point serves up a mobile-optimised user interface through a smart phone, tablet or web browser of a computer — giving remote access to equipment and system data.

With easy access to set points, schedules, trends and alarms, it is possible to analyze device performance, troubleshoot issues and take corrective action as necessary – right from your fingertips. No need to go onsite, or on the roof. It saves time, increases accuracy and provides immediate, at-a-glance access to the information you need.
Andrew Watkin, CSA Chairman says: “Once again the 2016 CSA Awards were a huge success and proved to be an excellent forum through which to celebrate business and professional excellence right across the commissioning arena. Congratulations to the winners and all of the finalists, and special thanks to our sponsors and everyone who attended, as without you – we would not have been able to raise over £1,000 for our chosen charity – the CRY Cardiac Risk in the Young.”
Jim Payne, Product Manager for Johnson Controls Building Efficiency in UK and Ireland, is very pleased with the win: "Everyone at Johnson Controls involved in the development and deployment of the new Metasys Access Portal Gateway are delighted with this award. It Is thanks to their efforts that this product has received this recognition. The CSA awards are prestigious in our industry and we would like to thank the judging committee for their selection and recognition. Receiving this award will motivate us to provide even greater products to enhance our customers‘ productivity and effectiveness.‘‘
