The Nemetschek Group has announced a key milestone in strengthening and scaling its AI offering in the Design segment. The preview of Graphisoft’s new collaboration and AI-assisted design initiatives, currently being developed, connects early-stage decision making, open collaboration and design experience.

“The new collaboration and AI-assisted design initiatives represent a key milestone in delivering greater value to our customers through advanced AI-driven capabilities in the Design segment,” said Sunil Pandita, chief division officer planning & design at the Nemetschek Group. “Designed with scalability for the Nemetschek design solutions in mind, this next-generation platform is translating AI into practical value for architects, engineers, and planners.”

To help eliminate roadblocks and cost overruns caused by broken handovers, misalignment, and miscommunication across AEC projects, the Nemetschek Group-level initiative is being developed as an open collaboration fabric for the Nemetschek design ecosystem. It is intended to synchronise models, documents, issues, and decisions of the broader Nemetschek portfolio, while supporting open standards.

This solution will offer a browser-based, multidisciplinary collaboration environment that brings architects, engineers, builders, owners, and operators into a single source of truth, with early access planned for 2026.

Also in development is a next-generation, web-based design intelligence platform that uses AI and integrated simulations to help teams make better decisions earlier in the building lifecycle. Users will be able to explore hundreds of massing, layout, and performance scenarios in seconds, while keeping stakeholders aligned in a shared, browser-based workspace - without requiring BIM expertise. This solution plans to launch early access in October, with a waitlist available now.
