Mark Braund has been appointed as CEO of Redstone. Mark will direct the strategy and growth for the company as it continues to build on its leadership position in delivering the full potential of smart buildings and smart spaces for its customers.
Braund believes that Redstone is well positioned to help customers realise the true benefits of the Internet of Things. He commented, “The growth in the volume of connected devices in a building is matched by the demand from customers to gain value from those devices. It can often be a challenge for businesses to understand how to optimise the use of the information it generates. Redstone can turn this data into a valuable source that businesses can utilise to improve a space’s performance. This is Redstone’s strength. Its experience of large scale enterprise projects is critical in helping clients create smart spaces.”
“I’m excited about the opportunity. Redstone has its feet firmly in the future – going beyond design and installation of solutions to the management of converged operational technology with information technology,” he adds.
Braund was previously a director at IBM for 13 years. During this time he also founded and grew Barker Personnel Services into a highly successful recruitment organisation. Along with completing four years as CEO of InterQuest Group Plc, where he took the company from being a loose federation of generic IT recruitment businesses to one single unified specialist brand.
