Helvar will be showing an array of new products and features at LuxLive 2016, including ActiveAhead 1.0, iDim Orbit and ILLUSTRIS.

Paul Wilmshurst, managing director at Helvar comments, “This has been a big year for us with our new headquarters in Helsinki opening, bringing with it human centric solutions and new modern ways of working. We have also implemented our wireless, personalised lighting control into some great projects in 2016, including the Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners studio in London, Harmony of the Seas cruise ship and the Generator Group of boutique hostels. We are looking forward to showcasing these solutions at LuxLive, and demonstrating our lighting solutions of the future.”
ActiveAhead 1.0 will be on display, which combines sensor technology with an algorithm that continuously learns about motion patters to provide appropriate lighting conditions in commercial buildings.
Also on Helvar’s stand this year will be ILLUSTRIS, a touch-sensitive control panel. With a stylish sleek glass finish ILLUSTRIS features an app that allows a smartphone or tablet to be used via Bluetooth connectivity to remotely control lighting.
The newly launched iDim Orbit delivers a simple, cost-effective and easy to install room-based lighting control solution, catering for a range of commercial and public building applications with a choice of PIR sensor configurations. Its built-in light sensor provides constant light and bright out modes for maximum energy efficiency. The internal iDim Orbit time-clock allows for profile scheduling and features mobile app connectivity for easy configuration using wireless technology.
