Prolojik has introduced the Proxima PS433 to its Smart Sensor range, this latest development capitalises on the increasingly symbiotic nature of lighting and smart sensing, offering multiple functions.

This latest addition provides a combination of intelligence including; relative humidity, temperature, occupancy, Lux and scene recall in a neat 40mm package and still only drawing 4mA on a DALI bus.

The modular design of the PS433 allows for ease of installation, architectural coordination and maintenance therefore reducing cost and time.

Prolojik sensors have been designed to complement the Prolojik range of lighting control modules and DALI controllers and are available in a range of lens types and finishes. By utilising the existing lighting network and using open standards such as DALI, BACnet, MQTT and Cloud Services, Prolojik can capture and share building data with multiple partners for everything from energy optimisation to space utilisation monitoring.

The current Proxima range utilises DALI, CAT 6 and Bluetooth low energy (BLE) technology to track people’s movements by facilitating wireless communication between luminaires within a Prolojik lighting control system and moveable objects, e.g. security passes and the PS433 take this to the next level.

Asela Rodrigo explains: “The simplicity of its design allows individual sensors to be upgraded without any change to infrastructure, or existing ceiling penetrations. This undemanding technology allows for additional data to be activated by over-the-network firmware updates to associated controllers.”
