Smart Buildings Show 2019 (Olympia London) has started with a bang with more exhibitors and visitors than ever before. The conference theatres have been full to bursting with panel debates hosted by IBM and the IWFM leaving standing room only.

David Williams from Microsoft saw over 100 people learn about the future of smart buildings and Darlene Pope from WeWork gave her thoughts on how the smart buildings market will developed to a packed crowd.

Exhibitors have been delighted with the record attendance and quality of visitors.

Ram Venkat, marketing manager, Schneider Electric, commented, "This is the third consecutive year we've attended Smart Buildings Show, it's gotten bigger and better every year. In previous years we've found that the quality of delegates and volume of leads has been brilliant, this year has been no exception. We've had some fantastic conversations throughout the morning, the speaking sessions have been well attended and our sales people on the stand have not stopped engaging with visitors."

Penelope Harrall, marketing lead, Remark Group, echoed these comments, "The event has been great so far, it has a nice feel to it and looking back at last year we had some great leads and enquiries, so we wanted to come back again. The people who are here, want to be here and attend for a specific reason, which gives this event an edge. One of the key talking points has been wellbeing in the workplace and in terms of lead generation and customer conversations, so far, so good."

"This is our first time at the show, first impressions always count and it's been a seamless experience so far. We believe in innovation and there's a lot to be found in this space. There's great footfall on the stand, we're in a great location and the quality of visitors has been excellent,” added Dean Maxim, regional sales manager, Siemens
