After six successful years at the helm, Sandy Damm, is moving on from his role at the top of controls peripherals specialist, Sontay, with the company’s sales director Mark Newton taking over.
Appointed as sales director in 2019, Mark is a natural fit for the role and will work closely with Sandy in a managed handover period to ensure consistency, continuity and customer service excellence remain Sontay’s key priorities in the years ahead.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank Sandy for his dedication, commitment and clear leadership since 2014,” comments Sontay’s chairman, John Zarno. “During his tenure, Sontay has gone from strength to strength. We have reached the number one position in controls peripherals and devices, thanks in no small part to Sandy’s fantastic efforts. We wish him well in his new challenges. He departs Sontay with the full support and enduring gratitude of the current board, and Mark is the perfect choice as his successor.”
Mark has helped Sontay achieve sustained growth since joining the company. He has built a well-respected and dynamic sales team, helping to significantly strengthen customer relationships and drive growth for Sontay. Over the coming months, Sandy will share knowledge, experience and insights to bring about a seamless transition as Mark is elevated into his new role.
