It will open its doors from Tuesday 30 January – Friday 2 February at Fira de Barcelona Gran Vía. Founded in 2004, the annual industry event is poised to celebrate its 20^th anniversary with its biggest edition ever. Over 1,340 exhibitors, alongside 190+ speakers, will be featured on the show floor and in its most comprehensive content programme to-date.

ISE is jointly owned by the AVIXA and CEDIA – the world’s leading association for residential and smart home professionals. Technologies such as automated HVAC, security, lighting, and home cinema systems feature heavily in the dedicated Residential and Smart Building Zone in Hall 2. As emerging technologies such as AI and Big Data mature, their role in home automation and building management are similarly becoming more prominent. Visitors to the show can expect to discover innovative solutions that leverage new technological advancements to offer comfort, efficiency. and sustainability to building developments.

Beyond the show floor, smart building technologies also have a strong presence in the content programme. Hosted by CEDIA, the Smart Home Technology Conference is the perfect platform for professional development in the industry, offered either a la carte or through a CEDIA conference pass; whereas the free-to-attend Smart Home Technology Stage provides insights into various aspects of the sector. Elsewhere, ISE hosts a Smart Building Conference. Titled ‘Understanding the ROI of Smarter Building’, the 2024 edition seeks to explore why properly integrated projects can yield massive returns, and how industry practitioners can integrate different technologies in a meaningful way.
