We will have the usual theatres, Management, Controls, Spaces and Training, but this year we will add to this by adding a Residential Developers strand.

Developers are at the cutting edge of what their customers want in terms of technology, plus have to comply with all the latest buildings regulations. We know that monitoring and managing energy use in residential developments are inbuilt into the latest building regulations. Get the infrastructure right on these projects and there is more chance of providing the sustainable, net zero future that society wants. Other benefits of a smart home will then follow, including lighting, a/v systems and solar shading technology.

We want to bring together the developers, integrators, resellers, installers and manufacturers in this sector.

Also with the theatres we want to reflect the issues that are present for all businesses. networks and infrastructure and sustainability.

We have launched smartinfrastructuremagazine.com – talking about how the importance of both and how without the correct infrastructure in place you can’t have a smart building.

If you are involved with; Smart Energy • Smart Utilities • Smart Grids • Networks • Mobile/Wireless technology • Software • Asset Management • Security • Data Analytics • Public Lighting • Sensors • Standards/Legislation • Cabling • Batteries • Edge computing • Digital twins, we want to hear from you.

With regards to sustainability, we will be looking at the important role smart buildings will play in helping hit the UK’s 2050 net-zero target. Particularly if the proposed Treasury rules go ahead that will force the UKs big UK firms and financial institutions to show how they intend to hit climate change targets by 2023.

We will also reflect these themes in out sister websites Smart Buildings and Smart Infrastructure Magazines in the run up to the show via; thought leadership pieces, vox pops, comment and case studies - culminating in a round table on each topic.
